A 501(c)3 non-profit supporting the next generation of movie-makers across the world shooting on celluloid film; through education, mentorship, and direct artist support.
Our efforts are currently based across the US/Mexico Transborder region, but we are focused on expanding our already successful programming and establishing new collaborations across the world.
Our Super-8 Accelerate workshop is a self-contained class for both K–12 and Adults, that leads participants through writing and shooting an original movie on Super-8 film, hand-processing (using eco-friendly techniques) and projecting their movies to watch—all in one session.
Established in 2022, with sponsorship from Kodak and FotoKem, the Transborder Film Fellowship is the first of its kind—addressing the current gap in support for independent films in the U.S./Mexico Transborder region by producing short narrative projects by up-and-coming filmmakers on 16mm celluloid.
Fellows receive 1600’ of Film Stock (Sponsored by Kodak) plus Processing/Scan (Sponsored by FotoKem), use of 16mm Camera, Lens Kit, and Grip gear, and Mentorship during all phases of film production.
We’d love to hear from you.
Questions, collaborations, and press inquiries are always welcome!
